What is your explanation for your actions? Why should you be unbanned? I was Under the assumption from the wiki (Refer top Wiki rule 14a 14b 14c) that I was allowed to use Easy place for building as long as I didn't place blocks midair. So I did use Easy place to place the dirt within my farms which WERE connected to blocks to make sure I wasn't breaking the rules. I did not use printer only easy place.

What measures will you take to prevent this from happening again? I will just stop using Litematica I don't want to hold a unfair advantage over others. I didn't mean to do anything bannable.

How can you ensure we can trust you again? I'm a pretty trust worthy Individual I don't cheat in any games and I just enjoy playing the server so I will abstain from using Litematic/Easyplace in the future to avoid any of this from happening again.

What else would you like to say to the admins reviewing your appeal? Im sorry for what I did, It wont happen again. Im lowkey addicted to the server right now and Id like to get back to farming. Also sorry for not reading that I had to make a appeal on the website, I accidentally made a ticket earlier.

Hello Concxrd!

Thank you for reaching out regarding your latest ban for illegal mods that I issued earlier tonight.

I'll start by discussing the behavior that I observed that specifically led to your ban. While you were building your sugarcane farm, there were several instances where you placed blocks while not able to do so without an additional mod. Although these were not truly in free air, and still connected to some block, they were placed without a valid action.

What I mean by this is that normally you would have to look at the side of one block to place a block against it. However, you would skip this, and place the block freely without looking at the side of the block. This is a feature of Litematica EasyPlace (and also Litematica Printer, which is why I included both in the ban message).

As you mentioned, we do have explicit rules on the wiki that cover these kinds of mods in detail. The specific portion of these rules that you were banned under is:

14b: EasyPlace is allowed in the Overworld and Underworld only to switch the block currently held in your hand. You may not use it to place blocks in-air or in any other manner besides this.

To your remark, correct, it was not totally placed in the middle of the air. However, you were still placing blocks with an invalid action via EasyPlace. This action is clearly not just switching blocks.

Furthermore, you mention that you 'assumed' what you were doing is fine. It would have been a better process if you were to have asked first instead of assuming, as indicated here:

14c: All other extensions to Schematica/Litematica are not allowed. If you ever have a question, please contact a staff member before using an addition or a feature that could possibly be illegal.

One of the particular reasons that we are so strict about this usage is the fairness that we aim to keep with the building of farms. As farming is one of the center gameplay mechanics of the server, we are very strict about how farming is built and performed, giving little leeway or exception when it comes to these sorts of things.

For the time being, I am going to place your appeal on Hold until tomorrow. I am going to review the situation and appeal with the administration team to gather some outside perspective on it. While I understand your intentions were not to unfairly play the server, we never accept appeals simply for being sorry or being ignorant of the rules, and it would be unfair to others to do so in this instance.

Therefore, to help keep you informed, here are all of the possible outcomes that could come from the internal review by the administration team (note that the final decision could be a combination of the below, and none of the below are either guaranteed in any way at this point in time):

- We decide that your ban is to remain in place for the entire duration left
- We decide to shorten your ban to a lessened amount of time
- We decide to remove your ban entirely
- We decide to roll back all of the progress that you made while using the illegal mod
- We decide to roll back some of the progress that you made while using the illegal mod
- We decide to update the wiki to be more clear if it is felt that the wiki rules information is not totally clear for situations like these

Once the internal review is completed, I will properly update your appeal to inform you of the outcome.

Hello Concxrd!

After review with the administration team, we feel that the rules are complete and clear as is. The rules specifically mention that EasyPlace is allowed ONLY to switch blocks and for nothing else.

For the same reasons as I gave above, the administration team has decided that your ban is valid. However, as it was only used as a standalone mod and not used as abusive as it could have been, I have made the decision to shorten your ban duration to 3 days, and this will be the final punishment given to you for this instance.

To clarify and avoid any further confusion, Litematica is allowed, but using EasyPlace in the manner that you were doing so is not. Any future incidents with using Litematica EasyPlace, Litematica Printer, or any other illegal mod will result in a permanent ban.
