Companies
Looking to boost your chem production? Consider starting or joining a company. The companies system allows you to create or join a "company" of up to 15 players. With a company, you can claim Underworld land to build a base, earn company leaderboard score, and unlock powerful perks and upgrades to boost your chem empire.
Companies are mainly tied to Underworld and Raid World gameplay, but players remain part of their company throughout the server. For example, chems sold or confiscated in Spawn still contribute to your company’s score on /c lb.
A company is required to claim land in the Underworld or establish a core in the Raid World (see more info. on establishing a core here) before establishing a base. These worlds offer much greater farm output potential than the Overworld, but there are some costs and considerations to utilizing these worlds. Unlike the Overworld, the Underworld and Raid World are not permanent (but please note, any Overworld chem production is not permanent either, only player's builds truly are). The Underworld resets once per season, while the Raid World resets every 3 months (colloquially known as an "era"). The Underworld consists of many layers of stone that must be dug away before you're able to develop your base. Your company must also pay company upkeep (see below for more info. on upkeep), but the amount is very low for a small company. Still, the added farming potential, company progression, and competitive gameplay make the Underworld and Raid World central to long-term chem production.
Company Basics
General Information
Companies are mainly tied to Underworld and Raid World gameplay, but most company commands can be used in any world (for the most part, commands that don't have to do with claiming/unclaiming land or managing the /c ch or /c lab can be used in any world). If you are the leader of a company, be sure to set the abilities and permissions of different ranks in your company with /c perms. You may handicap yourself and others by not allowing others to claim/unclaim land, for example. The main commands are listed below, but you can view all of them with /c help as well.
Company Rules
- Company Hopping: Company hopping (broadly defined as “leaving or remaking a company to avoid restrictions”) is not allowed.
- Inappropriate Company Names: Company names must generally follow the same rules as chat and nicknames. If your company name is vulgar, derogatory, racist, or references another player without their permission you will be asked to change it.
- Company Titles and Names: You may not use titles and/or color codes to obscure or fake the names of the people in your company.
- Insiding: Insiding companies is not allowed (this means you cannot take valuable items from a company you are in and then intend to leave and make your own company).
- Base Intrusion: You may not intrude in another company's land, unless: it is clear that they intend for it to be public, or, you were invited into it.
- AFKing: You may not AFK the base/farm of a company you are not a member of.
All server rules must also be followed. You can view all server Rules here.

Company Power
The amount of land your company can claim is limited by the power of your company. Each player has their own amount of power, and the company's power is the total power of every player in the company. The number of chunks you can claim is limited by your company's power. Dying will not lower your power - your power is a static number.
You can gain more personal company power by ranking up - view Ranks to see how much power is unlocked, and at which ranks.
Company Chemtainer, Lab, and Nexus
Company Chemtainer
Your company's chemtainer is a shared storage space for chems and compounds. Each chem has a capacity limit, which can be upgraded with a company upgrade based on the chem type. You can withdraw chems from the company chemtainer from anywhere but Spawn.
*Tip: use /c ch w <chem name> for withdrawing chems quickly.
Automatic Farm Collection
In the Underworld and Raid World, when an automatic chem crop "grows", it is instead automatically harvested and sent directly into your company chemtainer (/c ch).
Automatic crops include:
- Sugar Cane
- Melons
- Pumpkins
- Glow Berries
- Cactus
This means you do not need to set up any machines or harvesters to harvest these crops. Simply make sure they have the space and growth conditions (e.g. a light level of 9 or higher and dirt to grow upon for pumpkins / melons) they would normally require to grow. When these conditions are met instead of growing normally, the growth is cancelled and the resulting harvest is sent directly into your company chemtainer.
Automatic crop chems are now batch-collected and sent to your company chemtainer every 10 seconds within both the Underworld and the Raid World.
Company Chemtainer Furnaces
Your company chemtainer has built-in virtual furnaces to smelt any smelt-able chems stored in your company chemtainer. Click the furnace at the top of the company chemtainer GUI to manage them. You can buy more furnaces in this GUI to increase the smelting rate. Smelting is triggered by a batch of automatic farm chems (so make sure you have an automatic farm).
Upgrading Growth Rates
Since there's no cost for this automatic collection, automatic crop growth rates are slower than vanilla by default. You can increase growth rates for both automatic and manual crops by purchasing crop upgrades in /c chunk. Note that these upgrades are on a chunk-by-chunk basis, so it's smart to build your farm for each type of chem in one or two chunks, so you can get the most value out of upgrading the chunk(s).
Manual Crops and Chest Linking
While automatic chems in the Underworld and Raid World go directly to your company chemtainer upon growth, manual chems still drop normally and need to be collected.
The best way to collect manual crops is with Chunk hoppers. They collect all items dropped in a chunk (optionally filtered to only specific items) and move them directly to chests, wirelessly.
You can set up one chest for each chem type to be linked to your company chemtainer (although auto chems will always go into the company chemtainer automatically when they "grow". Setting a chest to deposit an auto chem is only needed if you want to add auto chems back into the company chemtainer after withdrawing them). Every 10 seconds, all chems of that type in the chest will be sent to your company chemtainer.
- Link a chest by looking at it and using
/c ch setchest <chem> - Similarly, you can set an input chest for fuel (which collects all major fuel types including blaze rods, coal, bamboo, etc.) with
/c ch setchest fuel. - Linked chests collection is triggered with every automatic farm batch, so make sure you have some automatic farms set up first.
Chemtainer Tool
The chemtainer tool offers an easy shortcut for unloading chems from your company chemtainer into a chest (or many chests, as there is no cooldown).
To use one:
- Get one with
/c ch tool <chem>- If you'd like to unload compounds, from your Nexus Lab inventory use
nexus<1-4>as the chem.
- If you'd like to unload compounds, from your Nexus Lab inventory use
- Right-click the chest you'd like to unload the chems into.
*Please Note: There is currently no corresponding method to manually load chems from chests into the company chemtainer. The fastest way to do so is to first move the chems into your inventory and use /c ch qd (quick-deposits all chems in your inventory into the company chemtainer). Fuel cannot be deposited into your company chemtainer through the /c ch qd command and must be loaded into the chest you've set as the fuel input chest with the /c ch setchest fuel command.
Company Lab
Your company lab is a space for your company to craft compounds using chems in your company chemtainer. Open the lab GUI with /c lab. The lab can be improved significantly by utilizing company upgrades (/c upgrades).
Compound Slots
Your company lab starts with 1 compound slot, and can unlock up to 3 more compound slots through company upgrades.
Each compound slot allows you to select a compound to auto-craft. You can have the same compound in being crafted in more than one slot at a time. Once a compound is selected and the slot is enabled, your company lab will create this compound passively over time as long as your company chemtainer and lab have the required ingredients. The lab creates compounds in batches (one batch is crafted every 60 seconds). The amount crafted per batch can be increased with the Lab Crafting Rate company upgrade.
Purity
When creating compounds in the company lab, you can optionally choose to apply purity levels to them. Purity increases the chem's rates in one to three main purity branches:
- Value - How much money a compound sells for at the dealer.
- Progress - How much prestige progress and Mastery score the compound gives towards prestige unlocks.
- Score - How much score the compound gives towards leaderboards, events (Lab Wars, Runner Week, Mini-Events, etc.), and missions.
How Purity Works
Each chem has a three-number format that represents its purity levels!
For example: Glompkinide-2-0-3
2→ Level 2 Value Purity0→ No Progress Purity3→ Level 3 Score Purity
Purifying Compounds
To configure the purity of a compound in your company lab, open the lab GUI with /c lab and then click on the potion below the slot. This opens the purity manager GUI where you can:
- See and adjust current values for each purity branch
- See the cost-per-craft for your current purity levels
- Deposit minerals to increase the company lab energy balance.
Purity Multiplier Effects
Each level of purity for a given branch has a multiplier effect when sold at a dealer:
| Purity Boost Rates | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Purity Type | Level 0 | Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 |
| Value | 1.00x | 1.15x | 1.30x | 1.50x |
| Progress | 1.00x | 1.15x | 1.30x | 1.50x |
| Score | 1.00x | 1.15x | 1.30x | 1.50x |
Purity Elements
To craft purified compounds, your company lab must have the right purity elements in stock. These elements are acquired through a few different methods in the Raid World.
There are two types of element for each purity class: Flux and Essence. Flux is necessary to craft purity levels 1-3, and Essence is required to craft purity level 3. Additionally, purity levels 2 and 3 require a small amount of energy.
Purity elements can be acquired from:
- Spawners in the Raid World (see Raid World).
- The Raid World mines (access via Raid World spawn at
/raid). - From Stockpiles in the Gank & Goon zone.
Lab Inventory
Each compound slot in your company lab has its own inventory. This inventory is separate from your company chemtainer (though you can also store compounds in your company chemtainer). If the inventory for a slot reaches its capacity, that slot will stop crafting. The capacity for all slots can be increased by the Nexus Inventory Capacity upgrade.
You can withdraw chems from a slot's inventory through the lab GUI, or using the company chemtainer tool (/c ch tool nexus<1-4> corresponding to the lab slot).
If your company has a Raid World base, the chems in your lab inventory can be stolen if your base core is breached. See Raid World for more info.
Company Nexus and Upgrades
Your Company Nexus is the link between your company chemtainer and lab to the Raid World. In the Raid World, you can have a physical Nexus Core chunk. While this core is active, you can generate Raid Points to purchase powerful upgrades from /c upgrades. Read Raid World for a more in-depth guide.
Nexus Core
Your company can have a Nexus Core in the Raid World. This is an additional base built around the core chunk, defended with walls, which can (but doesn't have to) contain farms, spawners, and anything else you'd like. You don't need to build farms here - you can just have your nexus core and walls and still get the benefits while using your Underworld base. Alternatively, you can have no Underworld base and just use your Raid World base for farming. Note that the Raid World resets every 3 months (and new content is added).
Having an active core generates Raid Points which can purchase powerful company upgrades (see below).
Other companies can attempt to raid your core, but note that only your core and walls can be damaged. They cannot raid, grief, or steal from your Raid World base farms, chests, etc. If your core is breached, they can take your Raid Points and lab materials, but not any of your chemtainer chems.
Read Raid World for a more in-depth guide.
Company Upgrades
Raid Points generated by an active Nexus Core can be spent on company upgrades that boost your company in various ways, mainly focused around increasing your capacity to create chems and earn company leaderboard score.
Read Raid World for a more in-depth guide.
Company Upkeep
Your company must pay upkeep every day. You can view your company's daily upkeep breakdown with /c upkeep.
The total upkeep is based on a few factors.
Base upkeep is decided by:
- Number of chunks claimed in the Underworld.
- Every chunk you claim increases your daily upkeep.
- The amount upkeep increases by gets higher with each chunk.
- Chunk upgrades (
/c chunk)- Each chunk upgrade level increases your daily upkeep.
- Each chunk upgrade level increases your daily upkeep.
Upkeep can be reduced by:
- Being below the company member limit
- If your company has fewer than 15 members, you will get an upkeep reduction.
- This reduction is much higher for smaller companies with only a few members.
- Having excess power
- Every excess power point (your total power exceeding your number of claims) reduces your company upkeep.
- Company upgrades (
/c upgrades)- Base upkeep for chunks and upgrades can be reduced individually with the Upkeep Reduction upgrades.
- You can cancel the next daily upkeep collection entirely with the Cancel Upkeep upgrade.
Note that your company only has to pay upkeep if your company was active within the last day. Currently, a company is marked as active if:
- Any crops have been harvested within the company land that day.
- The company has earned any company leaderboard score that day.
