Over the past few weeks, I have been seeing many people asking on how to make different potions. So... I have decided to make this forum post. It will tell all of you how to make all the recipes on the server including mcmmo potions.
Even though there is probably many different sites that have something similar to this, I have decided to add it to our forums so it is easier to find for us all.
Here is how you make the boost effects on the potions.
Glowstone makes the potion stronger.
Redstone make the potion last longer.
So, if you want an 8 minute invisibility potion, you would add redstone as your last ingredient.
Starting the potion:
For all the following potions, you need to have:
- Water bottles = You can buy glass at /spawn then make them into bottles. ( do /recipe Bottle in game. )
- Nether warts = You can get these from /kit drugs
- Blaze powder = Can be made by putting. ( /recipe BlazePowder )
So, your water bottles would go in the 3 spaces that have this image in:
Once you have the water bottles placed into them 3 open spaces, you add 1 nether wart into the blank slot above the water bottles.
Now, you may see that the potions aren't brewing! This is because you need to add the blaze powder into the left side of the brewing stand. The blaze powder acts like fuel.
Now, you should get 3 Awkward potions. Leave them in the brewing stand as you are going to add ingredients to make the actual potions.
Making the potions:
Night Vision Potion = Add a golden carrot to the Awkward Potion.
Invisibility Potion = Add a fermented spider eye to the Night Vision Potion.
Fire Resistance Potion = Add a magma cream to the Awkward Potion.
Leaping Potion = Add a Rabbit's foot to the Awkward Potion.
Swiftness Potion = Add sugar to the Awkward Potion.
Slowness Potion = Add a fermented spider eye to the Swiftness Potion.
Water Breathing Potion = Add a puffer fish to the Awkward Potion.
Health Potion = Add a glistening melon to the Awkward Potion.
Harming Potion = Add a fermented spider eye to the Health Potion.
Poison Potion = Add a spider eye to the Awkward Potion.
Regeneration Potion = Add a ghast tear to the Awkward Potion.
Strength Potion = Add blaze power to the Awkward Potion.
Weakness Potion = Add a fermented spider eye to a Water Bottle.
Mcmmo potions:
For the following potions, you must be a certain alchemy level. You can see your level by doing /alchemy in game.
Haste Potion = Add a carrot to a Awkward Potion. Level must be 125 or higher.
Dullness Potion = Add a slimeball to a Awkward Potion. Level must be 125 or higher.
Absorption Potion = Add quartz to an Awkward Potion. Level must be 250 or higher.
Health Boost Potion = Add an Apple to a Awkward Potion. Level must be 375 or higher.
Hunger Potion = Add rotten flesh to a Awkward Potion. Level must be 375 or higher.
Nausea Potion = Add a brown mushroom to a Awkward Potion. Level must be 500 or higher.
Blindness Potion = Add an ink sac to a Awkward Potion. Level must be 500 or higher.
Decaying Potion = Add a poisonous potato to an Awkward Potion. Level must be 750 or higher.
Resistance Potion = Add a golden apple to a Awkward Potion. Level must be 875 or higher.
*Note* Some of these mcmmo potions may be disabled on the server so they might not work.
