The Raid World is a world for company competition and domination! Work with your company to raid outposts, fight the controlling company, and contest the outpost for rewards! Read below for more information.

In order to access the Raid World, you must be at least rank Engineer (or Lieutenant for police).

General Raid World Information

The Raid World offers three levels of outposts: Outpost1, Outpost2, and Outpost3. Outpost1 is the highest-tier outpost, offering the most rewards but also the most challenging to raid and contest. Outpost2 is a middle-tier outpost, giving slight difficulty to the average player. Outpost3 is the lowest-tier outpost, designed for newer players ready to work together and fight for victory.

At each outpost, companies can raid the outpost in order to breach and reach the contest zone. Once fully contested, that company can claim the outpost and reap the rewards!

Commands

The root command for all outpost-related activities is /outpost. The outpost help command, /outpost help, will provide you with resources in-game to navigate this command. Here are some general commands that will likely be of use as you play in the Raid World:

  • /outpost info <Outpost Name>: Displays information about the specified outpost!
  • /outpost list: Displays a list of the outposts and the status of each!
  • /outpost teleport <Outpost Name>: Teleport to the specified outpost's warp!
  • /outpost featherboard: Toggle the featherboard for the outpost you are at!

A specialized gamemode only available in the Raid World is Roam Mode! This mode is similar to spectator mode, but you are prevented from doing certain actions, such as clicking on blocks and opening containers. To access roam mode, just do /roam!

Company Information

Companies are integral to how the Raid World operates. You must be in a company in order to play in the Raid World, as you can only build in specialized Raid Claims. With your company, fight for an outpost and claim it for yourself!

Claims and Power

Raid Claims are the specialized type of company claims that are used in the Raid World. They are based on a company's Raid Power and the amount of Raid Claims cannot exceed the maximum amount of Raid Power currently available for a company. Claiming land in the Raid World will automatically claim it as a raid claim and allow you to use it to build and raid.

Raid Power is the specialized type of company power that is used in the Raid World. You can increase your individual Raid Power from ranking up, and you gain it at a 1/3 scale of the regular company power. Note, though, that your Raid Power can be decreased if you die too many times! Every three deaths, your Raid Power will decrease by 1 until you give it time to regenerate. A company's total Raid Power is the sum of each company member's individual Raid Powers, so you can get more *Raid Power* from either recruiting more players to your company or by having your company members rank up!

Restrictions

There are various restrictions placed on companies in the Raid World, such as:

  1. Companies can only hold one outpost at a time. Do not attempt to raid another outpost while already holding an outpost, as nothing will happen.
  2. Companies that are caught excessively hacking, exploiting, breaking server rules, or in any other way playing unfairly on multiple occasions may be blacklisted from playing in the Raid World.
  3. Companies will not be able to 'team up' to conquer an outpost. An outpost can only have one control company, although multiple companies can attempt to contest an outpost at the same time. A company must be actively raiding the outpost in order to enter the outpost claims, or else they will be set into roam mode.

Outpost Information

The Outposts are the cornerstone for all activity in the Raid World! There are three levels of outposts, each with an increasing level of difficulty but offering more rewards.

Raiding Windows

During the Raiding Window, the Raid World will be open for all players who meet the prerequisites to access the world and attempt to raid an outpost of their choosing! When the raiding window ends, only players who are in a company that controls one of the outposts will be allowed into the world so that they can access the outpost during the Farming Window.

Outpost Raiding Window Start Raiding Window End
Outpost1 6PM EST 10PM EST
Outpost2 6PM EST 10PM EST
Outpost3 6PM EST 10PM EST

The Farming Window is only open to players in companies that are holding an outpost. It exists for all hours During this time, they can utilize the farming outposts that provide ultra-fast farms and other benefits as well!

How To Raid and Conquer An Outpost

In order to gain control of an outpost, a company must go through the raiding and contestment process:

  1. Warp to the desired outpost with /outpost teleport <OutpostName>!
  2. Work with your company to build a cannon in preparation of raiding!
  3. Begin your raid and work through the outpost defenses as well as holding off the defending company!
  4. Once you breach the inner core, hold the contest zone until your company has taken control!
  5. Your company is now the outpost control company!

Note however that, if your company becomes the control company during the raid window, you still will have to defend against others who may want to take the outpost for themselves! Whatever company is controlling the outpost at the end of the raiding window will be able to access it during the farming window and be able to use the rewards and benefits during that time as well.

Outpost Benefits, Rewards, and Perks

Each of the outposts offers various benefits, rewards, and perks to the control company during the farming window.

Cannoning Information

Cannoning is the current main method of raiding in the Raid World. In order to support cannoning and a fair environment for it to be practiced in, we have made several configuration choices along with adopted some server rules in regards to cannoning in the Raid World.

Current Cannoning Configuration

The Raid World has been optimized for cannoning with the Sakura Cannon Jar. This cannoning jar makes the server handle cannoning activities much better, providing an awesome experience for raiding! Along with this cannon jar, here is some general cannoning information that may affect your raiding experience:

  • TNT being moved by water flow has been Disabled.
  • TNT spread in all directions has been Disabled.
  • TNT and Sand entity height is vanilla, meaning there is No Height Parity.
  • TNT and Sand do not load chunks.
  • Beneath the floor of the raid world is Flat Bedrock and there are no adjustments made to TNT trajectory at low y-levels.

Cannoning Rules and Restrictions

We have put in place several rules and restrictions on cannoning in the Raid World. These include:

Rule 1) Cannons causing excessive lag may be stopped.
Generally, try to keep tnt per shot to under 2,000. If you notice that it is heavily impacting server performance, please fire slower. If a cannon is causing severe performance issues for the server, the cannon may be stopped without warning. The staff team is not liable for any damages incurred due to cannons limiting server performance, server performance itself, cannons that are stopped to maintain server performance, or any other related issues.
A) Cannons may not exceed a speed of 2.4 seconds between shots.
Note that the above rule (Rule 1) may include stricter cases.
B) Cannons may not exceed the absolute maximum of 2,500 tnt per shot.
Note that the above rule (Rule 1) may include stricter cases.
Rule 2) Certain cannon types are not allowed. The list includes, but is not limited to, the following
  • L stackers
  • Middairs
  • Phase Cannons
  • Cannons that (purposefully) break more than two walls at the same time.
  • Cannons that stack in more than one location.
  • Cannons that contain more than 3,000 dispensers.
Note that not all banned cannon types are mentioned here. If you have a question about a particular type of cannon, please reach out to staff on the discord server by making a support ticket.
Rule 3) Counter cannons are allowed but also face restrictions similar to regular cannons.
A) Counter cannons may not exceed a speed of 3.0 seconds between shots.
B) Counter cannons may not exceed 2,000 tnt per shot.
C) Countering from the front and sides are allowed, but back countering is not allowed.
D) All other rules regarding regular cannons also apply to counter cannons.
