Looking to expand your adventure and establish your legacy? Bring your company, design a new base, and fight to establish your dominance in the Raid World!

Introduction and FAQ

The Raid World is an additional worlds on MClabs, which you can imagine as an extension of the Underworld. In the Raid World, companies can establish a Nexus Core that will generate Raid Points. Raid Points can be spent on powerful company upgrades in /c upgrades. Protect your core with walls, because other companies can attempt to raid it with a Siege Machine. You only need to protect the bottom 16 blocks of your base - everything above that is unraidable, and you can build whatever you'd like in that space.

We know this is a lot of information to take in at first, so here are some of the most frequently asked questions regarding the Raid World:

Why use the Raid World?

Do I need to use the Raid World to progress?

In short - no, you can still progress through the ranks to Chem Lord and do Mastery without ever being in the Raid World.

In more detail - no, but it can help a lot in boosting your ability to produce chems and rank up faster. Even a simple Raid World base, which won't put a big target on your back, can generate Raid Points for useful upgrades. An active core in the Raid World will generate Raid Points passively, even if you're never in the Raid World.

How does raiding work? Won't I just get repeatedly raided?

Raid Points? Purity? Nexus? Gank and Goon Zone? This is a lot all at once

We get that - here are some quick definitions of Raid World terms:

  • Raid Points - Currency used to purchase company upgrades and to start raids. See your balance in /c nex. They are generated daily while you have an active Nexus Core (use /c nex raidpoints to see how many you'll get), and you can also earn them in the Nexus Mines and Gank and Goon Zone (via portals in the Raid World spawn)
  • Purity Elements - These are another currency, which are used for crafting purified chem compounds in your company lab (/c lab). You can view your purity element balances in /c ch. Purity elements can be generated by spawners in the Raid World, and from the Nexus Mines and Gank and Goon Zone.
  • Siege Fuel - The fuel for Siege Machines. Raid Points will buy you a Siege Machine and its upgrades, but in order for it to operate, you need to fill it with Siege Fuel. You can earn Siege Fuel from the Nexus Mines and in the Gank and Goon Zone.
  • Gank and Goon Zone - This is a PvP arena style area of the Raid World that can be accessed via the portal the /raid. Stockpiles spawn here, which you can stand near to capture. Capturing a stockpile rewards your company with purity elements, raid points, and siege fuel.

Accessing Raid World

To get to the Raid World, simply use the command /raid from any other server. This command will send you to the Raid World and teleport you to your last location in the world. The only exception is if you were last in another company's claims, in which case you will be teleported to the spawn area instead.

Who Can Play

Anybody can play in the Raid World! Whether you are a solo player, a small group of friends, or a large company, there is a place for you! The design of the Raid World makes it impractical for companies to target opponents that are not of the same size or capabilities, enforcing the idea that anybody can succeed here. While some of the gameplay components involved are designed for more experienced players, everyone can find a benefit in establishing a legacy in the Raid World!

Needed Resources

There are a few resources you will need to play in the Raid World. Each of these is used in a variety of ways to enhance the gameplay and engagement of the Raid World.

Raid World Points

Raid World Points are used to obtain special items, such as Wall Generators and Siege Machine Builders, along with upgrade your Nexus Core and Siege Machine. These are automatically generated with your Nexus Core every day. You can see the expected daily increase of Raid Points for your company with /c nexus raidpoints.

Siege Fuel

Siege Fuel is used to power your Siege Machine when raiding. This can be obtained from the Raid Mines [insert link here] or Raid Loot Boxes [insert link here]. You must keep your Siege Machine stocked with Siege Fuel as described in [insert link here].
