Why do you think you were banned? Truly don't know, seems like some kind of biased attack

What is your explanation for your actions? Why should you be unbanned? My elevator cocoa farm was approved my multiple admins, I've been doing this same exact thing for months where I weigh down my left mouse button and let the farm do its trick for 2-3 minutes, occasionally I fall asleep or get caught up in other things without taking the weight off my key. I would also like to mention that when I woke up and checked my keyboard, there was no weight on it, meaning that this incident I'm being banned for must've been from some previous occasion.

What measures will you take to prevent this from happening again? Idk, maybe make your rules less arbitrary and people won't have a hard time following them.

How can you ensure we can trust you again? Again, IDK, because when you choose to flip-flop on rules it kinda pisses people off.

What else would you like to say to the admins reviewing your appeal? Nothing

I would like to start by saying this was in no way a biased attack on you. I observed you for several hours this morning and sought out opinions from the entire admin team before making the decision to ban you.

As you can see in the video you were very clearly hitting chems while AFK. Whether you intended to or not, you remained AFK at the bottom of the farm which was very clearly harvesting chems. While we allow this farm design, weighing down your attack button and "letting the farm do its trick" is still AFK farming, which we do not allow. Even if you fell asleep in the two minutes it takes for you to harvest the column that is still AFK farming.

You also state in your appeal that you specifically weigh down your left mouse button, however had that been the case you would not be repeatedly hitting the air as you are in the video. Staff have been informed by other players that this action occurs when your attack is rebound to your spacebar, and testing has been conducted to confirm this. If you indeed did not have a weight on your keyboard when you woke up, I would be very interested to hear what software you are using to make it so that your spacebar remains pressed.

In regards to our "arbitrary" rules it is written very clearly in black and white that this is not allowed:

If you have any suggestions on how we can make this any clearer please feel free to provide examples, as I feel this is incredibly clear on what is and is not allowed.

Your permanent ban has been reduced to 3 days earlier today and that ban will remain.

I already stated in the discord before I made an appeal that I did in fact rebind my attack button to a key on my keyboard and weighed it down, I just used the term "left click" to make it easier to understand. This video was taken while I was smoking a cigarette and was afk for 5 minutes tops.

If instructions are clear as to what AFK farms are allowed or not, and my farm has been approved by multiple admins, what rule did I break?

Whether it was for 5 minutes, 5 hours, while you were asleep, or smoking a cigarette doesn't matter. You were still AFK farming. The rule you broke, as stated above, is using a weight to hold down your attack button while harvesting crops without paying any attention to the farm. Otherwise known as being AFK

Sounds biased, but who am I to say?

As I stated in my original response, your farm design is not the problem. Having staff approve it and watch you farm it has nothing to do with the fact that I sat and watched you for an extended period of time punching chems while you were AFK. I bonemealed the cocoa to a) see if you responded to the bright green particles that would have popped up on your screen when I did it in case you were looking at another monitor or something similar, and to b) ascertain whether the chems were aligned in your view and would break as they fully grew. You did not react because you were AFK, and you farmed the fully grown chems. Being AFK + Farming = AFK Farming.
